We welcome and invite each one of you to come together October 19 to 21 at Marygrove College. Bring your interests, skills, commitment, enthusiasm and vision. With your support and engagement we can continue our mission to promote sustainable community that fosters life-giving relationships, nurtures connections, and celebrates
solutions for restoring and healing Earth’s communities.


Join us. Be inspired and give us the opportunity to affirm the good work you are doing. Network with others, make new friends and create new collaborative efforts. Let us together continue to grow resilient communities.

This conference is rich in opportunities:

  • Thirteen plenary speakers broadcasted from San Rafael, CA will open
    up new vistas for all of us;
  • Six tours, thirty local “learnshops” and over forty presenters will share
    expertise, passion and vision which will make you proud of our local
    talent;
  • The presence of 160 Young Bioneers: 7th to 12th graders bringing
    their energy, skills and curiosity to the conference;
  • The presence of seniors, activists, young adults, sponsors, artists,
    musicians exhibitors, vendors and volunteers;
  • Food grown in our own bio-region and prepared by Marygrove’s
    chefs;
  • Music by our local artists at the conference, Gaia Women of the Great
    Lakes Basin and Julie Beutel
  • An art exhibit at the Marygrove Gallery.

YOUTH: 7th through 12th grade – if you are coming with school group for Young Bioneers Day  (Friday only) contact paulacathcart@comcast.net

MARYGROVE STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF may attend plenary sessions for free with Marygrove ID card. Please register prior to the conference.

SCHOLARSHIPS – Service exchange (19 years and older)

A limited number of service scholarships are available. If interested send an e-mail to: info@glbd.org or call (313) 717-6151.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

*Registration fees include organic/locally grown lunch.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Cancellations received before September 28th will be charged a 15% processing fee.

Cancellations received after September 28th will be charged a 20% processing fee.

After October 8th there will be no refunds for cancellations.

 

Speaker changes:

Although all listed speakers are confirmed at the time of printing, the program is subject to change without notice. We cannot refund registrations because of program changes.
